Our firm is seeking to recruit an experienced Bookkeeper/ Accountant, to join our friendly Limassol Accountancy practice, where we believe in building and maintaining high valued long term relationships with our clients. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients. Proven bookkeeping experience.
Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
Fluency in English with Greek being highly favorable.
Knowledge of e-Soft Accounting system would be considered an advantage.
Customer service orientation.
High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
Outgoing and pleasant personality.
BS degree in Finance, Accounting or Business Administration or LCCI Certificates.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Record day to day financial transactions and complete the posting process.
Verify that transactions are recorded in the correct day book, supplier’s ledger, customer ledger and general ledger.
Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
Perform partial checks of the posting process.
Complete tax forms. VAT, VIES.
Enter data; maintain records, reports and financial statements.
Process accounts receivable/payable and handle possible payroll in a timely manner.
Liaise with Social Insurance matters, such as registration of new employees, payments, special support.
Undertake the internal invoicing procedure.
Perform timely payments and overall control of creditors and debtors for our group of companies.
Support to the CEO with the preparation of various internal reports, analysis and budgets.
Other duties that may appointed by the CEO.
